Dynamic Dance recently held their annual concert at Ararat Town Hall.
The concert was themed 'Art In Motion', with routines inspired by artwork.
Ararat's Dynamic Dance Studio principal Laura Cameron said the students "did a wonderful job" back on the stage.
"It was wonderful to be back performing," she said.
"It was definitely an incredible way to finish 2021."
Ms Cameron said the shows went according to plan.
"Everything ran really smoothly," she said.
"Everyone pitched in to make this happen, the team worked really well together.
"It was a really great week for everyone involved."
Upon returning to the dance studio after the most recent lockdown students were faced with a monumental challenge, preparing for the end of year concert with seven weeks notice.
"It was in such a short time frame because of the lockdown in term three," Ms Cameron said.
"I am really proud and grateful for all of the students who continued after the COVID-19 break.
"The commitment and determination was amazing and to be admired.
"They have done an amazing job putting on the concert."
The dance studio had a busy week with exam presentations, rehearsals and three shows at the Town Hall.
"It was a busy week but the energy levels of the students were amazing," Mrs Cameron said.
"I think the students just really wanted to be back, they were amazing.
"I think the students had more energy than I did, the smiles and the joy on their faces was great to see."
