Ararat Woolworths has been added to the exposure list for a second time, this time on Tuesday from 4.45pm to 5.45pm.
It's been listed as a tier two site and anyone who attended the venue at that time needs to get tested urgently and isolate until they receive a negative result.
EARLIER, 9.30am:
AFTER clarification with Victorian government, Ararat Meat Exports has not been deemed a tier one exposure site despite a worker testing positive.
Director Michael Stapleton had worked with the Department of Health overnight on Thursday and on Friday morning to ascertain the directions for his business.
The findings clarified the Ararat business was not an exposure site.
East Grampians Health Service testing clinic opened at 9am on Friday for symptomatic residents of Ararat and residents who had been to exposure sites listed on the Victorian government's health website on Thursday.
On Thursday it was also reported there was undetected COVID-19 traces found in Ararat's wastewater.
More information to come, as it comes to hand.
