At the service, 90-year-old Elmhurst resident Irene Ramsay will recite The Ode and community members will be invited to lay commemorative wreaths
The Royal Australian Air Force will provide a half catafalque party, which includes a commander and two sentries.
OTHER SERVICES:
Flight Lieutenant and Indigenous Liaison Officer for RAAF Point Cook and RAAF William, Aimee McCartney will be the guest speaker at the service.
Lieutenant McCartney joined the RAAF in 2018, having represented Victoria at the 2017 National Indigenous Youth Parliament.
In her current role, she aims to strengthen the RAAF's ongoing relationships with Victorian First Nation's communities.
The service will begin at 10.30am and will be followed by a morning tea.
