The Redbacks made it out of a competitive Division Three Pool B undefeated.
Coach Megan Shea said she had been particularly impressed by their performances, given the team's challenges.

"Our domestic competition had only gotten started and then we had lockdown, so we decided because of the disrupted start, the lack of training, and our numbers that we were only able to send of the Under 16 Boys," she said.
"We just got a group of boys together who were interested. The team really only had three weeks of training and prep for the tournament but they just kept winning which was brilliant."
The Redbacks had close matches against Terang and Benalla, who they beat by four points and three points, respectively.
Shea said the Redbacks' holistic approach to developing its juniors had helped give the team an edge.
OTHER NEWS:
"We're trying to be consistent with all of our squads. A lot of these boys had played squad in Under 14 as well, so they were just remembering and refining different drills and plays that we had," she said.
"The beauty of it is that the boys didn't have that much to learn before we went away, and when it came to pressured games, they knew what they had to do from prior experience."
In the semi-final, they were unfortunate to be drawn against the Southern Peninsula Sharks, the standout side and eventual winners in the division.
Shea said she was delighted with the way the team had played over the weekend.
"Our boys were a credit to the town over the weekend, it was a really good result," she said.
