On Saturday, January 30, the Redbacks travelled to Warrnambool where they defeated the Seahawks 66-57.
Redbacks assistant coach Rhys Burger said he was pleased with the resilience the team displayed.
"We weren't quite sure what to expect from Warrnambool," Burger said.

"But we were pretty pleased with how the game went. The guys played well in a really tough game, it was basically neck-a-neck the whole way.
"It came down to the last quarter where we got a little lead and then dug-in and managed to hold it. I was really proud with how the guys stood up."
The season has been considerably shortened due to COVID-19, meaning there are only six rounds before finals.
Burger said this meant starting strong had been vital.
"It's very, very important. If you lose a couple of games you slip down the ladder and might not make the finals."
The Redbacks started the season with an 11-point win over Portland Coasters.
The team then had two weeks without playing, due to a bye and then the Australia Day weekend.
However, this Saturday (February 6) they will be on court again, as they play their first home game of the season against Bellarine Storm.
Burger said he thought it would be a good contest and was eager for people to come along and support the team.
"In previous seasons we've played really well against them but we haven't managed to get across the line," he said.
"A big crowd would be really good. We've got new facilities, new scoreboards, new rings, so hopefully, the kids can come and get excited, because they haven't seen basketball played here for a while."
The match will start at 7pm at Ararat Fitness and Leisure Centre.
