Despite strong winds, including a gust of 98 kilometres an hour recorded on Mount William in the Grampians, SES deputy controller Brody Stewart said there were minimal issues across the region.
"We only had the one incident through Stawell, about three or four in Ararat, a few in Dimboola, one in Horsham and one in Birchip," he said.
"So it wasn't much really - fortunately I think we escaped the worst of it."
Mr Stewart said the callouts were mostly for fallen trees and tree limbs.
