The pair organised for donations to be given during the market on January 12.
"We hoped to raise $200 and before we knew it, we had lots of goods donated and offers of help," Ms Studd said.
"Thanks to the efforts of our friends we ended up with four tables of goods (to sell for donations)."
The Trash and Treasure organisers donated the tables, and the Ararat Rural City Council donated a permit to sell food.
The money was presented to brigade captain Rob Starrick the following Thursday night.
The next Trash and Treasure Market will also fundraise for the Ararat Group Brigade and will be held on February 9.
