Victoria Police have confirmed that John Anyon has been found dead Tuesday afternoon.
His death is not being treated as suspicious, but were unable to release further details.
EARLIER:
POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Stawell man John Anyon.
The 91-year-old was last seen at an address on Campbell Street, Stawell on Sunday August 25.
Police and family members have concerns for John due to his age and several health issues which require medical attention.
John may be driving a white Subaru Impreza with registration OVE160.
He is known to visit Ironbarks Forest, Halls Gap, Lake Fyans and Lake Lonsdale bushland areas.
Police have released an image of John and his car in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
John is Caucasian in appearance, around 170cm tall, medium build and is bald.
Anyone who sees John or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Stawell Police Station on 5358 8222.
