Two teams still stand out, Marx Metal and McDonald's, both on 26 points.
They will be hard to catch. Both won well in trying conditions.
McDonald's was pushed by Alan Green's Signtek. Sets were close with McDonald's usually winning.
Marx Metal won by 13 games with Alex Drosg winning two, 8-4s. There were many long rallies on both courts, some verging on the classy.
Sally Wills filled in at short notice for J Ward who had an eleven-game win over the Ararat Medical Centre. Pippa Bush was driving forcefully and Sally Wills won all her sets.
Rural Steel had a big early win with a ten-love.
Yet by the end of the night, the tables had turned and Andy Wills and Doug Newberry responded with a nine-love. Rural Steel slipped in by three games.
