The Redbacks compete in their second doubleheader of the season.
On Saturday night the team will travel to take on fifth-placed, Bacchus Marsh Lions.
The team travel on Sunday to Drysdale to come up against Bellarine Storm.
The Redbacks had the week off last week after a win and loss at home in round two.
Coach Marcus Jenkins said the priority around the club over the last two weeks was recovery from the last double header – and readiness for the upcoming games.
“Recovery was really good. We had some light training sessions after recovery which all the players have bounced back really well,” he said.

“Some players have to take a little longer than others – something that we are currently managing.”
The team participated in a number of recovery sessions, one being water aerobics.
“The boys jumped in the pool to try something different for recovery,” Jenkins said.
Jenkins said the team will go in with a game plan on the weekend, up against some quality opposition.
Bacchus Marsh Lions’ William Feben currently leads the league’s match points stats with a total of 119 – topping the three points made also with 16.
The Lions are coming directly from a double header last weekend against Geelong Supercats and Bellarine Storm.
“We will be working on our defence and working on trying to shut the Lions down from scoring. It will be a tough match-up for our guys but they are ready for the challenge,” Jenkins said.
Bellarine Storm has had a perfect start to their season, already recording two wins including defeating the Lions last weekend.
With tough opposition on paper, Jenkins said he was looking forward to his team being competitive on the court.
“We would love to come away with both wins. We have things we are working on and as long as we follow our game plans – realistically I would be more than happy to walk away splitting the weekend,” he said.
Jenkins said a focus for the team will be consistent efforts across both games.
“Our four-quarter efforts will be the key in both of these games. In our last double header we didn’t continue the intensity from one game to the next, which is something we will be focusing on,” he said.
The Redbacks side will go in unchanged for the team’s first road trip.
“We have a small cloud over one of our older players. He has been in the game a long time and we will leave the call up to him to decide if he is up to playing,” he said.
