HARRY van Dartel is set to return to South Newcastle's first grade team in Sunday's catch-up game against Central Newcastle at Townson Oval. His last touch with the Lions' top squad was September's grand final, awarded the JJ "Mo" Wilson medal for man-of-the-match on a premiership-winning afternoon. The barber then headed south during the off-season to join the Woden Valley Rams in the Canberra competition but has recently arrived back in what he describes as "God's country". Van Dartel, now based in the Hunter again, had a run for Souths in reserves last start but the weekend's fixtures at Merewether were washed out. * JUNIOR Roqica is expected to line-up for Central against Souths at Townson Oval on Sunday after representing Fiji on the weekend. The Butcher Boys forward "pulled up fine" according to coach Phil Williams, following the Bati's 58-14 win over the Cedars at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday. * CESSNOCK will have to wait and see if they score the services of Tevita Alifa again this season after the forward was recalled by the Newcastle Knights for NSW Cup this weekend. Alifa debuted for the Goannas in their loss to Maitland on Saturday. Alex Mammone was the Cessnock player to make way. * WESTERN Suburbs duo Sam Keenan (ankle) and Blake Andrews (foot) have both been cleared of injuries and will represent the NSW Pioneers in Brisbane this weekend after resting from club commitments on Saturday.
