In Ararat, the Eagles put 2019 runners-up Penshurst to the sword with a commanding win to keep them well and truly in touch with the top five.
The Eagles piled on 18 goals to six as they clinched an 84 point win, 18.15 (123) to 6.3 (39).
Up front, Aiden Graveson led the way with a bag of six goals, while the return of Ryan Weppner lived up to expectations, as he bagged three goals and was named in the Eagles' best.
Ben Robertson, Tulloch Maxwell and Jayden Wright were also some of the Eagles best players on the day as they poured on the pain for a struggling Sharks outfit.
Lismore Derrinallum also did their finals chances no harm with a 93-point demolition of the struggling Wickliffe Lake Bolac, 20.10 (130) to 6.3 (39).

Both Lismore Derrinallum and the Eagles will meet in a must watch round 12 match-up, with fifth place and a finals spot on the line.
Tatyoon also continued on their unbeaten run with a 16.13 (109) to 4.4 (28) win over the SMW Rovers.
Adrian Pilgrim kicked a massive haul of nine goals for the Hawks, while Mathew Smith and Steven Butler were Tatyoon's best on the day.
And in an ominous warning to the rest of the competition, Woorndoo Mortlake carved fellow finals fancy Glenthompson Dunkeld to pieces in a 58-point win.
Glenthompson Dunkeld entered the game having lost just once in 2021, but they will have some soul-searching to do after falling well short of the red-hot premiership fancy.
But in round 12 Glenthompson Dunkeld will get the chance to atone for their poor performance when they head to Tatyoon.
OTHER NEWS:
The Hawks will also be up for the contest, needing to win to stay in pursuit of the Tigers in top spot.
In round 11 Moyston-Willaura also drifted further away from finals contention as they were smashed by a resurgent Hawkesdale-Macarthur outfit.
Hawkesdale-Macarthur had all the momentum as they hosted the Pumas, running away to a big win 21.11 (137) to 8.10 (58).
On a dirty day for the Pumas, Jacob Bates was a shining light, named as Moyston's best to go along with his three goals.
Matthew Peel also kicked two goals and was named in the best, but it wasn't enough to bring the Pumas closer.
Great Western also showed their might with a big win over Caramut, 38.20 (248) to 4.3 (27) and it doesn't get any easier for Caramut in round 12 when they face the rampant Woorndoo Mortlake.
