The key evidence in this case is the CCTV footage, which captured a female suspect in a white wedding dress. This led to the 'Left at the Altar' caption by the police, adding a touch of irony to the situation.
She appeared to wheel the scooter away from the High Street business before riding it eastward along High Street.
The offender is described as a Caucasian female of a thin build, approximately 170 cm in height, wearing a black hair wig, a white wedding dress, white shoes, and a black bag.
Investigators have released an image of someone they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
