
Ararat Police saw almost 70 driving offences over the Easter long weekend, a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
The Northern Grampians Police Service Area, which covers Ararat and Stawell, saw 48 speeding offences and 15 unregistered vehicles.

There were two offences for disobeying signs.
Police issued one mobile phone offence and two cars were impounded.

There was one cycling offence in the Northern Grampians area as well.
The Horsham Police recorded 88 speeding offences across the four days during Operation Nexus, a statewide operation that ran from Thursday to Monday.
Sadly, there were two offences of drink driving and one driver who tested positive for drugs.
