The 93rd annual Moyston Sheepdog Trials ran last week, with good attendance and intense competition at Moyston Recreation Reserve across the three days.

The trials began on Thursday, March 11, and concluded on Saturday, March 13.
While the weather was inclement, Moyston Sheep Dog Club president Max McLean said there had been a great response to the trials that lasted all three days.
"It was really good, we were very happy with it," he said.

"There were a lot of cars there on Friday and Saturday, and I think the gate takings were pretty good.
"Even when it was a bit wet on Saturday afternoon, people kept ringing up saying, 'are the trials still on?' and I said 'yeah the rain doesn't stop the dogs or the workers or the sheep.'"
John Tuddenham was the Open winner at the trials for his sixth time, with his first victory in 1994.
Mr Tuddenham and his dog Waramara Paddy finished on 163 points.
Kevin Wilson finished second on 154 points with his dog Kevin Old Cobber, while Richard Davies completed the top three, finishing on 151 points with Celtic Roxy.
Mr Wilson also won the Novice category with another dog Tintagel Skippa.
Former trials open winner Michael Deppler won the Improver category with his dog Cap.
