Ararat's Three Blooms florist is looking to move as many flowers as it can today, as it will be forced to shut ahead of one of its busiest days of the year.

Daniel Andrews announced earlier today that Victoria would enter a five-day lockdown from 11:59pm tonight, with all non-essential businesses being forced to close as a result.
With Valentine's Day on Sunday, the news could hardly come at a worse time for the florist.

Three Blossoms owner Bec McDougall said they had plenty of stock to move, as they had been expecting a busy weekend.
"We've got over 500 roses that we need to get rid of," she said.
"Nobody is going to want a Valentine's Day rose on Monday."
Ms McDougall said Valentine's Day was not the only event the store had been catering for.
"We had a wedding that was going to be held in Ballarat, and there was a 21st for Stawell," she said.
