Willaura resident Heather Fleming said Santa in the Park had been enjoyed by the township for many years.
"It's a long-held Willaura tradition," she said.
"There are adults in the community who remember fondly Santa in the Park when they were kids, and now a lot of those same adults now bring their kids to the park."

Willaura Lions Club secretary Ellen McCartney-Lees said this year's event was another enjoyable occasion.
"We had a great time," she said.
"It was another successful Lions activity."
Ms Fleming agreed the event brought merriness to the town.
"It went very well," she said.
"Santa arrived on the truck and the children were delighted to see him.
"The Lions Club provided a sausage sizzle, which was much appreciated by all who were there."
Before arriving at Willaura Recreation Reserve the fire brigade also drove Santa around town so he could give out lollies to the children who would not be at the park.
Ms McCartney-Lees said Santa in the Park was also encouraging because Willaura Lions Club had not been able to hold an in-person event for several months.
"This is the first actual activity the Lions Club has held since restrictions have eased," she said.
"Hopefully (in January), we'll have a sausage sizzle near the Lions Park at Lake Bolac.
"We'll also hopefully have a trivia night later on, probably around about March or April, because the people that do come absolutely love going to these things and they've not been able to do anything for seven or eight months, so hopefully we can get that together."
