Police are calling for witnesses for the fire which started on the Red Gum Track at about 4pm on Sunday, December 13.
Police said the fire burned approximately one hectare of bushland including trees of significant cultural value.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Langi Ghiran Picnic Ground Road within the Langi Ghiran State Park.
Police requested anyone with information, or witnesses of suspicious behaviour to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
