A 24-year-old female driver was caught speeding along the Western Highway on the outskirts of Ararat. In the early hours of Thursday, December 3, the female was detected travelling at 152km/h in a 100km/h zone.

The female was interviewed in relation to Exceed Speed Limit and Drive at Speed Dangerous offences, and was be summonsed to Court at a later date.
The reason given by the driver at the time - she was 'busting' to go to the toilet at the nearby Macca's.
