VICTORIA has marked a major milestone, with two whole weeks without a new case of, or a new death from, COVID-19.
Friday's Department of Health and Human Services update states no cases and no deaths for the fourteenth day in a row.
IN OTHER NEWS:
There are now only three active cases of the virus in the state, none of them in regional Victoria.
More than 12,000 coronavirus tests were conducted yesterday.
At the peak of the pandemic earlier this year, on August 5, the state recorded 725 cases and 15 deaths in one day.
