Aradale Ghost Tours will be hosting their first-ever live stream tour via Facebook on Saturday from 7pm.
Eerie Tours manager Nathaniel Buchanan said he wanted to give people the "Halloween experience" from home.
"The virtual tour will be the same route I normally take. I will be telling lots of ghost stories and it will be just me and the cameraman," he said.
"About 14,000 people have already expressed interest on Facebook and 2500 people said they were attending the event.
"There is a cultural agreement that lunatic asylums are the most haunted buildings and Aradale is the biggest abandoned lunatic asylum in Australia ... people are fascinated by it."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mr Buchanan was "frustrated" that he could not reopen due to COVID-19 restrictions, but hopes people still celebrate the spooky holiday, virtually.
"We want to give people a chance to see the asylum while they are locked inside their houses, and hopefully when we do reopen they will want to see it properly."
Aradale Asylum is Australia's largest abandoned lunatic asylum - for 130 years, the lunatic asylum housed thousands of patients ranging from the criminally insane to those who suffered from mental illness.
