It was a slight decrease on the 723 cases recorded on Thursday.
Eight people also died across the last 24 hours, marking 112 COVID-19 related deaths in Victoria since January 1.
The deaths included two men in their 50s.
349 people are in hospital, with 37 of those in intensive care
The total number of cases linked to the aged care outbreaks was 928.

As of Thursday, there was one active cases in the Ararat region.
There were zero in the Pyrenees, two in the Northern Grampians and one in the Southern Grampians.
