The fourth Victorian store for the company will open on April 22.
To support the well-being of customers and team members amid the COVID-19 pandemic, OTR Stawell will have easily accessible hand sanitiser and hand wash facilities, as well an increased schedule of cleaning high-touch areas.
OTR team members receive extensive training on food safety, money handling, and additional ways to minimise health risks for both our customers and team.
OTR General Manager Darryl Cotter said the aim was to give customers the very best in convenience retailing.
"If you need flowers for a loved one, a coffee in the morning or a quick snack after work, some supermarket necessities any time of the day or night; OTR has you covered," he said.
"The OTR Stawell store affirms our commitment to investing in regional towns and champion job growth across Australia, with 400 positions created last year alone. As with all our OTR stores, we aim to become an integral part of the local community and region, by supporting community groups, events and sporting clubs."
OTR is a retail leader in community engagement and corporate social responsibility, including food recycling through Foodbank, which has created over 220,000 meals in the last 12 months for families in need.
OTR Stawell will also provide life-saving access to a public defibrillator to support all members of the community.
Customers are also encouraged to help OTR give back to charity groups through their innovative OTRGive.
The program works through the OTR App; every time a customer shops or refuels at OTR with the OTR App, OTR donates on the customer's behalf to the community group of their choice - at no cost to the customer.
