It should be a top match - the two teams have been at the top of the ladder for most of the season and deserve to be where they are now. Expect a close encounter, with the two teams drawing just last week in the last round of the season.
Both sides feature top bowlers who perform well each week and plenty of depth to support their skippers.
In the elimination final, Stawell Golf will play Chalambar at the rebuilt new carpet green at Ararat Bowling Club.
Both sides have been winning well lately and this will be a tough battle right to the final end.
Chalambar has a lot of finals experience to support them.
Golf, meanwhile, has plenty of good depth throughout the side.
The two sides have met twice this year, with the honours shared, so another top match is expected with a close result.
DIVISION 2
In the first match to decide who will go straight into the grand final, Stawell Gold will play Lake Bolac Black at the Aradale green.
This should be a great match - the two sides met a few weeks ago and when the match was abandoned the score were level.
The fast and true Aradale green will be a great venue to let the skillful bowlers strut their stuff and a top match is expected.
In the elimination final, Stawell Blue will play Stawell Golf Gold, also at the Ararat carpet green.
Both of these sides have had a good season, and with each winning a lot of close matches, this one should go down to the wire.
Golf has shifted a few of its players from one side to the other in an attempt have plenty to choose from when the finals are here.
A strong side should walk out on to the green this weekend.
Stawell has been very settled this year and will play to their best for a win.
