In the second match Landsborough will play Ararat V.R.I on the new green at Ararat. The VRI team will take a few weeks to get used to the slow pace of their new green and after a 50-shot thumping will need to improve to get the points over the Borough boys.
In the third match Chalambar will play Ararat on the grass at Chally. Both sides have struggled so far this season trying to win games and this is a vital match for Chally if they are going to try and make a run at the finals.
In the last match Stawell Golf are back at the fortress and will welcome the Lake Bolac combination for the round eight battle. The two side sit third and fourth on the ladder and both are very conscience of the sides just outside the top four getting ready to pounce on the loser of this match.
