While the club name St Andrews isn't normally associated with bowler Michael Harricks, unless he is taking wickets, the former Tatyoon captain is taking the move of clubs in his stride.
Where did you start your cricket career? I played at Tatyoon since I was 10 years old, so 19 years in total, before making the move to St Andrews for the 2019-20 season.
What is something people might not know about you? This is a tough one, I'm ambidextrous.
As one of the leading bowlers in the Grampians Cricket Association, what are your best bowling figures? Three seasons ago I took 9-44 against Halls Gap in the second innings. I also notched up my highest ever run score as well. I took 4 wickets in the first innings as well.
What was that top score? 112. I just had two days out.
The funniest moment you can remember from cricket? I share Nic Bairds at Country Week last year and waking up on the Thursday morning. We can't talk about it but I'm sure it's up there for most people.
Cricket memories start from a young age, tell us your favourite? Would have to be winning the grand final at Tatyoon in 05-06. Nothing better than just playing with your mates and I think it was against Buangor and we were all pretty good mates in the two teams.
What's the best memory you've had so far playing senior cricket? Tatyoon won three A Grade premierships back-to-back-to-back so I can't look past those years, team success is what you really remember. The first two were really close and were on the back-foot in both of them at one point of the match.
What are you currently watching on TV at the moment? I've just finished watching the series Chernobyl.
Who's given you the best piece of advice in cricket? My grandpa always told me "you can't get caught if you hit the ball along the ground" which I still can't seem to take on board because I get caught every week.
What do you find is the biggest challenge in cricket? As the former captain of a club the biggest challenge is to get players and keep players.
Who's the best cricketer you've played with at GCA? There's been a lot of good players out at Tatyoon over the years. I would say Jarrod Blandford would have to be the best batsman I've played with.
Who's your favourite cricketer of all time? I always loved Damien Martyn as a kid. Just loved loved the way he batted and was the best cover driver of the ball.
Do you have any superstitions or something you do the same every week? Nothing at all.
What's your signature dish in the kitchen? Anything cooked on the Webber.
