RUNNERS, walkers and golfers taking part in the annual East Grampians Health Service Charity Golf Day will help raise funds for a pain relief administering pump to replace ageing equipment at the health service.
The event will take place on October 13 and includes a fun run or walk around the picturesque Chalambar golf course, as well as the three person Ambrose event.
Participants will have the opportunity to win a car for a hole-in-one on the 18th hole.
In addition, the six kilometre run and three kilometre walk will be included again after success last year.
Michael Smith from Kings Cars encouraged golfers from across the region to enter a team and help raise money for East Grampians Health Service.
"We are pleased to once again partner with the health service as a major sponsor of the East Grampians Health Service Charity Golf Day," Mr Smith said.
"We would love to see as many golfers as possible attend to try to win the car!"
Stawell and Ararat Cross Country Club president Peter Gibson said people of all abilities could participate in the fun run event.
"The fun run and walk will be a great opportunity see parts of the golf course you normally don't get to see," he said.
"The fun run and walk are for everyone, whatever their abilities, with prams and children of all ages welcome to participate."
Entry for the Ambrose event is $90, and entry for the fun run/walk is $15 per adult and $5 per child under 14. Forms are available at Chalambar Golf Club.
