Their older counterparts may have been a little down over recent weeks, but Navarre's under 11.5 footballers continued their great run of form, recording their fourth-straight win against Maldon on Saturday.

Having won seven of their past eight games, the young Hoppers are sitting pretty in second spot on the MCDFL ladder.
Now in their third year of competition, the team has become an important part of the club.
Navarre junior football co-ordinator Luke Martin said it's been a boost for the club, and for the overall development of junior football in the region.
"It's been a fantastic initiative by the league and a credit to all the clubs," he said.
"Initially 10 of the 14 clubs fielded teams, but last year all clubs were able to and that's continued into this year."

Martin said while it's taken a lot of hard work from many at the club, it gives youngsters in the area another option as they're starting off on their football journey.
"We're the only club in the region that offers this age group.
"So for boys and girls who don't want to jump straight into under 13 or 14 competition, it's a great alternative," he said.
Martin said it also fits well with the netball club, which fields teams in under 11, 13, 15 and 17 age groups. "It means families with kids of all ages can come to the club and have all their footy and netball together, at the same venue and on the same day," he said.
Navarre will travel to Harcourt for this weekend's round, with the senior footballers set to face off against a Lions side buoyed by the inclusion of ex-AFL star Barry Hall.
Hall will play the first of what is expected to be a handful of games for the club, in what is a crucial match for both sides.
