The hotel raised $10,724.50 through Friday night raffles with the help of volunteers.
"You go around and say it's for the children's hospital and everyone just puts their hands in their pockets really," volunteer Daryl Bell said.
"They don't even ask what the prize is half the time."
Hotel owner Steve Burke donated the prizes but gave the credit to the volunteers.
"They do all the work - I just donate the venue and the prizes," Mr Burke said.
Pub staff and volunteers were presented the Perpetual Shield, which is presented to the pub or club that raises the most money.
Good Friday Appeal volunteer Peter Cooper presented the shield.
"I just want to thank all these guys on behalf of the appeal for the tremendous effort they do," he said.
Coming in with the second highest amount for a pub or club was the Ararat RSL with $956.75, Chalambar Golf Club came in third with $600, the Leopold Hotel and Bottle Shop raised $213 and the Great Western Hotel raised $197.20.
Volunteers raised a total of $43,715 across the Ararat district for the Royal Children's Hospital through raffles, street and highway collections, and other means.
Acacia Caravan Park was awarded as the business that raised the most funds, totaling $1002, and Santa's Place raised $2660.35.
