
The A Grade netball game went down to the wire on Saturday and ended in a draw.
Great Western had an early lead of four going into the first break but Lake Bolac played a better second quarter to even the scores at half time.
Great Western had a lead of goal at the second change and the game could have gone either way right up the last seconds of the game.
Best players for Great Western were Kira Stapleton and Mahli Bird who was very strong in defence.
B Grade also had a close game with Great Western leading the whole game and winning by three goals. Best players for Great Western were Brooke McKenzie and Wainwhakaata Clarke who was also strong in defence.
The C Grade girls had a great win and the best players were Jacqui Ralph and Amy Millar.
All senior netball sides are sitting either in or just out of the five and hopefully we can have all sides playing in the finals at the end of the year.
The senior football side had a great win over Wickliffe Lake Bolac and is sitting a game clear on top of the ladder. This weekend they will face another big test playing Penshurst away.
The reserves are also sitting on top of the ladder with no losses to date and only a draw with Lismore Derrinallum.
