The team will face the Southern Mallee Giants this weekend for the Wimmera League round six match.
"Our couple of weeks off came at probably the best time possible," Mason said.
"We were starting to get a couple of those sore bodies and niggly injuries. At Thursday night (training) we'll assess where everyone is at and come out firing as if it's round one."
Mason will also assess which players will on the court on Saturday.
"We've had a couple of sore bodies after the (round four Horsham) Saints game," she said.
"That was a really physical game so we did have a bit of general soreness, but nothing major.
"Hopefully we'll get everyone on court but maybe not."
The side hasn't lost a game yet this season and is sitting at the top of the ladder.
The Southern Mallee Giants hold sixth place.
Nonetheless, Mason said there will be no slacking in any matches.
"I think there's not really any easy games as such through the season," she said.
"It's definitely a really high standard of netball every team is showing.
"As far as the toughest games go I think we've had a couple of those, and we'll have a couple more in Miniyp-Murtoa and the (Horsham) Demons. The Giants will definitely be a tough challenge as well."
This week's training will focus on attack strategy.
"In the past few weeks we've been really focusing on our defence end, which has paid off, so now I think it's time to put a big focus on our attack end," Mason said.
"We're putting a lot of work into our attacking end at training this week just to get a bit more structure."
The match will take place at Alexandra Oval, Ararat.
