The 2019 Run the Gap numbers spiked as runners took on the landscape in Halls Gap on Sunday.

Participants completed a scenic six kilometre walk or run along Fyans Creek trail, ran 12km including a lap across the wall Lake Bellfield, or tested themselves in the 21km trail run.
Event co-organiser Monique Cummings said entry numbers were up for the overall event.
"961 people entered in all the events - an increase across the board in all events," she said.
"We bet the weather, we were concerned and kept a really close eye on the rain radar.
"We were really pleased with the numbers as people have said while other events are slightly dwindling in numbers - ours is increasing."
