Paul Riley has stepped down as manager of the Horsham Golf Club after 10 months in the role. The decision was announced to club members in an e-mail sent last night by club president Leo Delahunty. It was advised that Riley would leave his position, effective April 23, to relocate closer to family. Riley, a professional golfer, moved from Hong Kong for the role in June last year. Riley said he left on positive terms. "It's all good, all positive, it was my choice. It basically came down to my family," he said. "Horsham has been great to us, the people have been incredible. It's just 13 hours to Sydney and if we fly it's nine. We just want to get close to one of our families." Riley's family is based in Sydney, and his wife's family live in her native Hong Kong.
