Brent Bulger and Ian Worsfold have joined the club - bringing their experience to the team.
Coach Kane Tolliday said it was great to have them both on board.
"We are sitting in a much better position to where we were before Christmas," he said.
"We've added in some experience which will be instrumental in helping us all around the ground."
Bulger is a former Ararat Eagles player - notching up 200 games and rewarded with life membership last season.
"We offered him the chance to come and play for us and it was a very hard decision for him," he said.
"He really struggles with the decision sometimes but we're stoked to be able to put him in our forward line and with a little bit better delivery might be able to kick 40 or 50 goals. We think he will be a big support to our other forwards - our forward line is looking really solid."
Worsfold comes from Loxton North - associated with the Riverland Football League.
"Ian is working in the local area and we fought hard with neighbouring clubs to get him," he said. "It shows the quality of the player we managed to get."
On the track, Tolliday said he was one of the quickest players the club has seen off the mark.
"He is pretty lightly framed but he finds the footy well," he said. "His stats from last season are really really strong so will be a great asset to us to strengthen our mid-field with the ability to kick goals as well."
The team returned from a training camp in Port Arlington in early March.
"There were many positive things to come out of the camp," Tolliday said.
"I think our playing group got a lot out of the camp and have taken on board which could be the driving force of the year.
"We did a big session on mental health, team values and club culture which is a really important topic as we move forward into an important year."
