The team came away with three wins from four.
The squad missed out on the opportunity to play finals. They had to finish top of their pool to gain an automatic berth into the grand final.
Coach Megan Shea said the boys began the tournament with a 30 - 26 win over the Warrnambool Seahawks.
"There were lots of changes made throughout the game as the full squad was available for this tournament," she said.
"It took the players some time to adjust to being all back together.
"They then went on to beat Geelong Supercats 42 - 16 and then they had another big win over Geelong 59 -14.
"These games allowed various set plays to be practised and also give all players court time."
The squad lost their fourth game to Colac 30 -24.
"This was disappointing as the boys had beaten them previously in a grand final at the Warrnambool tournament back in November," Shea said.
"Colac's talls converted well under the basket and they hustled well."
Shea said it was good to come away with things to work on.
"It was also nice to have the inclusion of Jordan Cox back from injury and Fletcher Burger back from Ballarat basketball commitments," she said.
"Kade Bohner had another great tournament, being one of the teams top scorers.
"The squad is now preparing for State Championships which will be held in Bendigo in a fortnight."
