THE winning horse and driver of the Ararat Pacing Cup was Luv Ina Chevy, driven by Lance Justice of Melton.
The second biggest race of the night was the Trotters Cup.
This was won by Stress Factor NZ, driven by Chris Alford.
The win added to Alford's already legendary racing career.

THE annual Ararat Harness Racing Club Pacing Cup Night kicked off Friday evening with crowds filling up the Russell T White Raceway grounds.
The first race, the Platinum Mares Spring Championship, began at 6.07pm, and punters lined the raceway to watch the competition.
Over at the Trash and Treasure Market, families shopped for locally-made products, and children rode the Carisbrook Lions Club train or bounced around on the jumping castle.
Club secretary Amanda Kilpatrick said the night was shaping up to be a huge success.
"It's a fantastic night, great weather, great fields and great volunteers," she said.
The fun will continue into the night with the last race scheduled for 10.40pm.
The two big races of the night will be the Ararat Trotters Cup at 8.10pm, and the Renown Silverware Ararat Pacing Club at 9.10pm.
