That’s why Ararat resident Aimee-Kate Stewart will open her house up on Christmas Eve and welcome the community inside.
Ms Stewart said there will be free face painting, lolly bags and even reindeer food.
The doors will open from 7:30pm at 375 Barkly Street.
“Don’t forget to bring the little ones past and say hello,” Ms Stewart said.
