An open waters event, anglers fished Taylors Lake and also Lake Fyans. While Taylors Lake produced three yellow bellies, Lake Fyans is beginning to produce some nice rainbow trout, fished under a bubble with mudeye.
The Keirl family produced the goods, with Daryl Keirl taking the top spot with seven rainbow and one brown trout, with an aggregate length of 315cm from his son Damien, who also caught seven rainbows at 274.5cm.
Narelle Smith fished Taylors Lake hooking two yellow bellies, measuring 70.5cm.
Stephen Fenwick took out the award for the longest fish, with a 46cm rainbow trout.
The final competition for the year will be a Lake Fyans event starting at 7am Saturday, December 1 until noon Sunday, with final measure taking place at 12.15pm at the clubhouse.
