A 22-year-old St Arnaud man has been arrested and charged for stealing from a recycling centre.

Police interviewed and arrested the man last Thursday, charging him with burglary and theft.

“The man is alleged to have stolen motor car batteries from the St Arnaud Recycling Centre in May this year,” St Arnaud Sergeant Bill Alford said.
He has been bailed until October 11, when he will appear at St Arnaud Magistrates Court.
