Natimuk United recorded a 56-34 victory in Saturday’s A Grade match but there were promising signs for the Baggies. They lost the final quarter by just one-goal to the second-placed Ewes.
Swifts coach Courtney Morrow and shooter Michaela Armer were best on court for their team in the loss.
The defeat resulted in Swifts finishing fourth on the ladder, setting up an intriguing elimination final contest against Edenhope-Apsley.
The 15-and-under and 17-and-under Swifts netball sides will also be playing finals.
The 17-and-under team finished in the top two, earning a week off in the first round of finals while the 15-and-under side will take on Noradjuha-Quantong after finishing sixth.
