Things started poorly for the Eagles, conceding 10 first-quarter goals which set the tone for the remainder of the match.
The Hawks showed no signs of slowing down after the first break, slamming home another nine goals with the deficit already more than 100 by half-time.
Despite conceding heavily, Ararat still managed to hit the scoreboard with two goals of their own from Lara Nambirajan and Brent Bulger.
The attacking opportunities dried up for the Eagles in the second half however, managing just two behinds in the next two terms.
Tatyoon slowed down slightly but not enough to not reach the 200-point mark.
The Hawks ended up winning 36.15 (231) to 2.4 (16).
Adrian Pilgrim led the way for Tatyoon on the scoring end, finishing with a bag of 10.
11 players snagged goals for the Hawks, including best on ground player Sean McDougall with five majors.
The win gives Tatyoon a significant percentage boost, moving into second spot. They are now 14 per cent clear of third-placed Penshurst, with both teams on 36 points.
