The reigning premiers have won the last two Ballarat Football League Youth Girls premierships and are eyeing off a third.
While the team has a strong history of performing well, Storm football manager David Nicholson said the club was still looking for players who want to be involved.
“We only have 19 registered players so far, so we are hoping to bring in some more players for this year and beyond,” he said.
“We have some top-age players this year that the new players can learn off as well.”
The Storm is the Western District’s main girls football representative team with players travelling from Warrnambool and Horsham to play.
The team trains on Wednesdays at Stawell’s North Park and Fridays at Ararat’s Alexandra Oval with registrations open for players between 13 and 17.
