Tasmanian truffle farmer, Henry Terry, said an explosive argument which led to a team being excused from the table on My Kitchen Rules was a particularly awkward moment to witness.

While he was not allowed to say which team was asked to leave until the episode aired, Mr Terry said sitting there as the drama unfolded caught him and his sister Anna by surprise.
“It was uncomfortable – really uncomfortable (to be at the table),” Mr Terry said.
The likeable siblings appear shocked on promotional ads featuring the MKR argument when teams clash and one gets kicked off the reality cooking show.
Mr Terry said the argument started to flare-up while he and Anna were in the kitchen cooking during Tuesday night’s episode, the night before the big fight.
“It’s a hard one to explain even today but it started blowing up at our (ultimate) instant restaurant when we were in the kitchen at our place,” he said.
“Anna and I were looking at each other at one point because for us to hear it all the way in the kitchen which is quite a distance away, we thought they must be enjoying themselves but it wasn’t that at all it was quite the opposite.”
Mr Terry said the next night he and Anna were none the wiser when “things exploded” at the table in front of them.
“We were not sure why,” he said. “We just had to sit and witness it.”
Mr Terry said after one team was excused by judge Manu Feildel things calmed down for the rest of the night.
“We were all pretty keen to recognise that we were at someone’s place and were here to enjoy a good feed...we were keen to do that after the ruckus had finished,” he said.
Mr Terry said he was not sure how the situation escalated. He said it was a “little bit disappointing”.
“It is a cooking show and a lot of people were taking it seriously and that’s one thing and that’s great but to take it so far (to be) attacking other people and for things to go over the line, nothing is worth that,” he said.
“We’re not at war here – it is inappropriate a bit.”
On a brighter note, he said it was a surprise to reach the final eight on the popular show.
Mr Terry said there was extra pressure at their ultimate instant restaurant because of the new time limit.
“We were stoked with the night. We had six different courses to put out and most of the dishes were pretty well received. I think we were both pinching ourselves...all the other teams are fantastic cooks and we were quite amazed we were still in the group.”
He said their goal was to enjoy every moment of MKR and do their absolute best and make the most of every second of it.
