Wayne “Picasso” Seadon, hot on the heels of a Friday win a couple of weeks back, continued his form, winning his first monthly medal on Saturday in a closely contested competition at Chalambar Golf Club.

His one-shot victory over Rob Porter, Brett Smart and club groundsman Jeremy Price was a timely tune-up for his imminent tour of the Dubai Golf scene later this month where stiffer opposition will be met on such courses as Trump International, Emirates Majlis and Jumeirah Earth.
The latter two courses play host to world PGA professionals each year in January and November when the Dubai Desert Classic and Race to Dubai tournaments are held.
It also put him at the top of the B Grade ranks for the round.
Porter topped the A Grade standings with a score of 75-6-66 to claim the win ahead of Steve O’Connell while Price topped the C Grade scoring with 89-23-66. There was no event on Thursday due to course being closed.
