Three Ararat Little Athletes represented the club and had positive results at the annual Kannamaroo Gift in Horsham earlier this month.

It was the first official open day competition for Ararat members Judd Potter and Dominic Stevens and they started the season with strong results.
Both of them took out their respective age group Gifts, not only taking home a swag of medals but a sash each as well.
Keelan Perry has moved clubs and is now competing in Ballarat and performed well for his ninth year of attending the showcase event.
Potter finished on the podium in all his under-6 races, including wins in the 50m dash, 70m dash and 60m hurdles.
Both of them taking out their respective age group Gifts.
Stevens competed in the under-7 section and won the 70m dash, discus and long jump while finishing in second place in the 100m and 60m hurdles.
Promising junior athlete Keelan Perry continued his improvement each year, winning the under-14 200m and shot put events and finished in second place in the triple jump and 100m.
It was a strong outing for the trio with the standard within the club improving each year.
All little athletics club members will now prepare for the up and coming Ararat Highland Sports Invitational on December 16.
