70 Lowe Street and Garden View Court carer Allyson Wallace and her fiancé Sugito, celebrated their wedding in the gardens of 70 Lowe Street, performed by celebrant Ron Roberts.
Residents worked hard in the weeks leading up to the event to help make the day a special one, making the bride wedding favours and decorating the garden arch that they were married under.
The bride was given away by resident, Harold Pevitt, whose family was also in attendance with the groom’s best man was Bly Wallace.
Merryl Woolley, ward clerk and lifestyle co- ordinator at 70 Lowe Street, acted as witness to the marriage.
Allyson said it was an easy decision to get married at 70 Lowe Street.
“I wanted everyone to be able to join in and feel special - it just seemed normal as I’m here so much and have been for so long,” she said.
Guests enjoyed a buffet complete with wedding cake made by nurse Susan Klauss.
