The Sgt. John McNally Memorial Pace was won by punter’s elect, the David Lewis-trained Ennaellie. Driven by JJ Caldow, the four year old led on the final lap to run away and record victory by six and half metres.
Tuesday night’s win was Ennaellie’s third for her career, and it takes her total of placings to seven from 10 starts.
Driver Jason Lee dominated Tuesday night’s meeting with a winning treble. Lee kick started his winning streak behind the controls of race favourite, Im Intense in the Jason Bond Memorial Pace 2015.
Im Intense was sitting three wide early and moved to be one out, one back at the bell. The gelding managed to find a way to the front, crossing the line over six metres in front of his nearest rival.
The Jason Bond Memorial was Im Intense’s second win in as many starts this season for trainer Beau Tindale.
