Working together, Ararat North PS and the YMCA have moved the occasional care across to the YMCA.
This ensures the service will continue as an option to long-day care for those parents seeking only short hours of care.
The service will now be known as “YMCA Occasional Care” but will still offer the same quality program ran by the same highly regarded staff.
Occasional care operates four days per week with parents eligible for up to five hours per day, 15 hours per week.
The centre caters for children from six weeks of age up to five years and is open through school holidays with the exception of the December/January break.
Bookings are essential and can be made online at www.grampians.ymca.org.au, or in person, or by phone.
The Y is also offering cheaper hourly rates to anyone who has a gold membership at the YMCA.
This allows families to use the while at the gym or a group fitness class.
The YMCA hopes families support this great service.
