After being the benchmark team of the competition throughout the 2014/15 season, Ararat went into the clash at Landsborough West as the firm favourites, despite missing number one player Sam Gason.
With this in mind, Elmhurst's men knew they had to start well and top players Pat Hall and Linden Murray didn't disappoint, downing John Hannett and Oakley Gason in an entertaining opening clash, 9-8.
Sonny Walton and Alex Drosg hit back for Ararat in the next set (9-3) and from then on it was one way traffic in favour of the powerhouse side.
Ararat eventually took the section 35 games, two points to 20 games, nil points.
The class of Claire Harricks and Ali Burmester further increased Ararat's lead during the first match-up for the ladies, with the duo defeating Simone Shaw and Katherine Hynes, 9-1.
The strong Elmhurst pairing of Aimee Harrison and Jenny Trengrove got things back on track with their own victory in the following set (9-7), however Ararat had all but secured another premiership by wrapping up the section.
With only pride left to play for as the grand final moved into the mixed contests, Elmhurst did its best but was no match for the opposition.
Hannett and Burmester (9-1) and Gason and Harricks (9-2) combined for big wins, and although Hall and Trengrove got one back for Elmhurst, Drosg and Genevieve Bush finished the game off in style for Ararat and the celebrations got underway.
Ararat and District Tennis Association president Karl Scott said this year's decider drew the biggest crowd since the ADTA was reformed and Landsborough West did a great job hosting.
Ali Burmester was named most valuable play for the day, while men's MVP of the year went to Alex Drosg and ladies' MVP of the year was Kate Vance.
