LABOR has claimed victory in the 2014 State Election, however Liberal Party candidate Louise Staley appears on track to win the marginal seat of Ripon.

With close to 70 per cent of the vote counted Ms Staley has an all important lead (with all 45 voting booths counted).
Ms Staley leads Labor Party candidate Daniel McGlone by 865 votes after preferences.
On first preferences, Mr McGlone has 35 percent of the vote. Ms Staley sits second at 32.9 percent. The National's candidate Scott Turner sits third at 19 percent while The Greens' Rod May has picked up seven percent.
Despite having the lowest rate of pre poll votes cast, of any electorate in the state, it could be Monday before Ms Staley is declared winner.
Just prior to the election, Ms Staley said she had listened intently to the needs of people from across the electorate.
"I have worked as hard as I can, I have covered tens of thousands of kilometres and I am actually at the point now where I am meeting people for a third or fourth time," she said.
"So I hope people at the very least recognise that I would work very hard for them."
Ripon has been one of the most hotly contested seats in the state with both the Coalition and Labor committing to millions of dollars worth of initiatives.
Ms Staley, along with her Coalition counterpart The Nationals' Scott Turner had been prolific campaigners since they announced their candidacy earlier this year.
Ripon had been held by retiring Labor MP Joe Helper with a margin of 2.7 percent before redistribution changes to electoral boundaries gave it a notional Liberal majority of 1.6 percent.
